My name is Chris Fyvie. I started in commercial real estate immediately after I finished university and have focused on office leasing ever since. I specialize in finding new office space for technology and web based companies but I have done work with almost every industry. The markets I focus on are the Yonge subway line up to Finch and Downtown Toronto from Sherbourne (East) to Dufferin (West) but I do work across the Greater Toronto Area. I work with both landlords and tenants (relocation, sublease and listing work) and find my job very rewarding. I’m a tech guy and one of those “honest” salesman, so you can trust that I will be open with my opinions and not try to “sell” you on anything, just give me the opportunity! My clients include many internet and technology companies like Mozilla Canada and b5 Media. I am focused on building my network for the future and not on short term gain but long term goals.

Finding your first office space

Working from home will only work for so long. Most of my clients go through the following transition:

1. Find shared space - by reaching out to everyone they know, sometimes a company gets lucky and finds a group willing to share their office space, boardroom and sometimes even an assistant. This is usually a great at great cost savings on a month to month basis.

2. The company outgrows the shared space or has it taken back from them for growth or relocation reasons. Many group… Continue

Located in Downtown Toronto on the North East corner of Yonge and College Streets, close to the former Maple Leaf Gardens, 2 Carlton Street offers great office space for small or large tenants alike. With amenities that include on-site public and private parking, after hours security and a location adjacent to the College Subway station office space rarely stays vacant for long.

174 Spadina Avenue
Suite 302 - 1,785 sf - Sublease to May 30, 2012 - $4,000 per month

Hardwood floors, large boardroom or office and open space. Fantastic open concept brick and beam space and a must see if you’re looking for offices in the Downtown West.

Allen Park – 525 Wilson
Up to 240,000 sf available for lease or purchase

Design build – up to 240,000 square feet available for lease or purchase

At the Wilson TTC subway station, employees and clients can travel to downtown in under half an hour, or drive along the 401, 400 and 407 highways to the airport, York University, Mississauga, Vaughan or Scarborough in under half an hour. The Spadina-University TTC subway line is the fastest way to get from North York to Downtown Toronto. No need to drive downtown - end short office commutes from the suburbs at Allen Park Business Centre, and avoid the heavy gridlock driving south of the 401 towards downtown.
