Irving J. Diaz founded SouthOne Capital in September 2007 and currently resides as senior managing director with the responsibility of overseeing companywide operations. Headquartered in Miami’s Brickell Financial District and with a presence throughout Florida; SouthOne Capital is a “Real Estate Wealth Management” firm providing a diversified range of services including; Advisory, Asset Brokerage, Asset Management and Capital Markets for institutional, non-institutional and developer investors. The firm primarily focuses on the commercial real estate middle-market with properties and portfolios valued between $5 Million and $50 Million.
Prior to having founded SouthOne Capital, Irving was broker/owner of Irving J. Diaz & Associates, a South Florida based commercial real estate advisory firm focusing on high net worth individuals with investment assets valued between $1 Million and $10 Million. His responsibilities included managing a group of five brokers and overseeing real estate acquisitions and portfolio management on behalf of clients. Before pursuing entrepreneurship, Irving was president and senior broker of HCBB Properties based in Coral Gables, FL; a commercial real estate brokerage and advisory firm specializing in healthcare related properties. His responsibilities included overseeing the entire company including operations, finance and marketing divisions. Irving’s real estate and finance experience have deep roots in the South Florida market dating back to 1993 as an investor and association with other local real estate firms such as; Century 21, DRE and Camp & Associates International.
Irving holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Florida International University; an Associate’s degree with a concentration in Economics from Miami Dade College and is currently working towards the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation, considered the PhD in commercial real estate.
