Matthew May founded May Realty Advisors in 2000 after running the retail brokerage divisions for some of the most prominent real estate brokerage companies in Los Angeles. His 24-year career has involved the sale and lease of a diverse array of property types from high-rise office buildings to department stores, Beverly Hills retail to suburban retail centers and investment properties throughout the United States.


May has represented and consulted on commercial projects ranging from a mixed-use developments to regional retail and office developments throughout United States. In addition, he contributed to the design and tenancy of a 450-acre super regional entertains development in Taiwan.
His strength in marketing and negotiations has resulted in a portfolio of blue-chip clients from both sides of the bargaining table.

May stays informed through his memberships in the Association of Corporate Real Estate Executives (ACRE), International Association of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and is a founding member of The Retail Brokers Network, a national affiliation of 45 brokerage comanies throughout the United States. May is a graduate of Southern California’s Loyola Marymount University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Business Administration.
